Dear Hadassah Members and Friends,

Important Announcement 2 Graphic

Hadassah will be returning to in-person events and gatherings!

If your Hadassah chapter will be returning to in person events, local units are required to follow state and local laws and regulations, the current CDC guidelines and recommendations as well as the following Hadassah protocols in order to conduct activities in the safest and healthiest manner possible. Please note: applicable Florida law states that businesses operating in Florida may not require patrons/customers to provide any documentation certifying COVID-19 vaccination or post-infection recovery to gain access to or receive services from the business. These protocols have been mailed to chapter leadership. If you would like a copy of the protocols or have questions about implementing them, email floridarequests@hadassah.org.

Hadassah Helps Graphic
GMR Thermometer Sept. 2021

Help us reach our goal!

We all remain shocked and saddened by the loss of life from the collapse of the Champlain Towers condo in Surfside. More than a dozen of those lives tragically lost deeply impacted our Hadassah Greater Miami family, many of whom are from our Inter-American and Puerto Rico Chapters.

For the last nearly three years, we have been raising money in our region to fund a $75,000 Chronic Ventilation Room in the Round Building on the Ein Kerem Campus. We are very close to our goal, but are still short by about $14,000.
As our Region President, I would like to dedicate this room as a memorial, in memory of those precious lives that were lost to us. The dedication plaque on a room where lives are being saved will serve as a beautiful honor to those who were lost.

Any donation that you would be moved to give would be greatly appreciated. Anyone visiting the hospital in Jerusalem will see the plaque on the outside of the room, bear witness to those we’ve lost, against a backdrop of lifesaving medicine for which we are devoted to support.

Thank you for your generosity at this terrible time.
