ANNUAL CAMPAIGN IS IN FULL SWING!

Screen Shot 2018-11-27 at 6.19.26 PM.png

We are so grateful for your continued support of Hadassah and the Annual Campaign.  Your gift enables Hadassah to provide advanced medical care, lead the way in medical research, and serve as a bridge to peace.  Our doctors and nurses respond to international human crises.  We continue to support Youth Aliyah and children at risk within Israel, and we provide scholarships to Young Judea camps and Israel programs for families in need.

Hadassah empowers women to advocate for women's health issues.  Your donations make this happen!

See your campaign mailing or send your gift to Toby Berke, 119 Daley Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617.  All donations are gratefully accepted.  Questions?  Contact Monika Katzel, 203-1200 or lesterkatzel@earthlink.net

 YOUTH ALIYAH/CHILDREN AT RISK

We can help these children by purchasing Youth Aliyah Certificates that are good for any occasion.
Small Certificates are $5 and up plus postage. Large Certificates are $15 and up plus postage. Contact Marlene Elkin 271-1871.

EMAIL ISSUES CONTINUE!

Due to higher security issues with spam, large files, and mass emails, some email addresses are not receiving our Hadassah e-bulletins and e-blasts. Bulletins are sent around the first of each month, e-blasts prior to programs. If you are not receiving our Rochester Hadassah emails, please let us know. What started as just AOL issues may now happen with other servers. And unfortunately we do not always know who is not getting the emails. Please share this info with others (especially AOL users). hadassah-on-call-logo.gif

After Pittsburgh, Hadassah Expert Offers Coping Strategies for Children

What do you tell children in the aftermath of terrifying violence like we Americans just witnessed in the Squirrel Hill synagogue in Pittsburgh? What red flags must we be alert to in our children? How do we fortify ourselves so we can guide our children toward a return to normal life?

World-renowned psychiatrist, Prof. Esti Galili-Weisstub of the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem, has traveled to countless cities--from Berlin to Kiev to Las Vegas--to share her expertise in helping 800 children overcome the post-traumatic stress they experienced as victims of terror and other tragic events in Israel.
