ANNUAL CAMPAIGN* - ILLUMINATE YOUR SOUL!

annual campaign for bulletin.jpg

*The Annual Campaign and the Sustaining Contributor Campaign have been merged. There has been some confusion about this, so we wanted to clarify this.

PRESIDIUM MESSAGE AND ANNUAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE

medp.jpg

February is Heart Health Awareness Month.  Here's a dose of reality:  500,000 women in the US die of heart disease every year – double the number of deaths from all types of cancer.  Hadassah urges all women to do what they can to live heart healthy lives.  Our Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) has been a forerunner in cardiac milestones for decades. Some examples:
1964 - 1st hospital in Israel to perform double bypass surgery
1986 - 1st successful heart transplant in Israel
2010 - Twins delivered to heart transplant Mom - 1st in Israel
2012 - The Linda Joy Pollin Cardiovascular Wellness Institute dedicated to promote heart health in Women

Your generous gifts over the years sustained Hadassah and the ongoing progress and developments in our hospitals. You are THE Heart of Hadassah!  Give genrously to the Hadassah Rochester "Illuminate Your Soul" Annual Campaign and keep the beat going.  See your November campaign mailing or send your check to Toby Berke, 119 Daley Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617.

We applaud and acknowledge the following campaign donations made after December 15 :

One Candle - $36 Plus:  Ronny Frishman, Glenna Spindelman, Emily Fishman, Gloria Rosenstein, Harriett Shulman, Barbara Baron

Two Candles - $72 Plus:  Jill Kravetz, Linda Rapkin, Ellen Solomon, Martha Green, Linda Shapiro, Janet Goldman, Vicki Weinstein Finnefrock

Four Candles - $180 Plus:  Marilyn Rosen, Julia Walsh

Five Candles - $360 Plus:  Elise Rosenfeld, Marla Miller, Tammi Steinberg

Other Donations Gratefully Received:  Ruth Salesin, Terry Schwartz, Kathye Simon, Judith Zysman, Sue Ann Baker, Rachel Gordon

Let the light within our heart and soul help Hadassah save lives.

Due to higher security issues with spam, large files, and mass emails, some email addresses are not receiving our Hadassah e-bulletins and e-blasts. Bulletins are sent around the first of each month, e-blasts prior to programs. If you are not receiving our Rochester Hadassah emails, please let us know. What started as just AOL issues may now happen with other servers. And unfortunately we do not always know who is not getting the emails. Please share this info with others (especially AOL users).
