Dear Friends,
Don’t you just love Hadassah? The projects in Israel … the hospitals, the Youth Aliyah villages that literally save lives? What about the advocacy efforts in the U.S., like our recent meetings with Congressional representatives Lois Frankel and staff of Congressman Brian Mast, where we fight for equal rights, women’s rights to equal access to healthcare and human rights? There’s also the support for Young Judea, providing our youth with safe spaces to explore their Jewish identity at summer camp, Israel experiences, year-round conventions and other events. What other organization has such diversity? I also love that some of my closest friends are ones that I have met through Hadassah over these many years. Click here to read more

So many from our Hadassah community come together on social media, especially Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Every week, we see a surge in community spirit as we wish our Hadassah family a Shabbat shalom, connecting from our homes before many unplug for the Sabbath. Our posts with challah seem to engage so many, perhaps since challah is one of the best loved of Shabbat foods. That's one reason we're so excited about our upcoming culinary journey with food writer Adeena Sussman, focused on the foods of Shabbat, and hope you’ll enjoy this and the many other ways you can connect with Hadassah, right from your home.
