Sunday, November 3rd
Explore the food and history of the Lower East Side on a small group
walking tour. Stop at mouth-watering food destinations for noshes, and
take in the neighborhood's rich history. You'll sample both sweet and
savory treats including knishes, pickles and bialys.
We will also have a private tour of the Eldridge Street Synagogue, one
of the first synagogues built in the U.S. by Eastern European Jews in
1887. End the day at the new, sprawling 37,000 square foot Essex Market.
Transportation to and from the city will be on your own, but we will all
meet at the Ronkonkoma train station that morning, around 9:30 am.
$50 per member and $60 non-member for the synagogue tour and noshes along with way.
Don't be left out! Limited availability!
